Description
Very old set of 4 soft cover books by Robert Louis Stevenson with gold edge on top pages. No date is in books but they do contain some handwritten notes indicating the first owner was Earl Allwood Bowen MD 2/13/1894 -1/11 1978 and the second owner was Ernest M. Fell MD 11/15/78 (date he acquired the books?). Set includes: Virginibus Puerisque Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, Kidnapped A Child’s Garden of Verses The Merry Men All books still have their ribbon bookmarks although one has become detached. They appear to have some water staining on the page edges but are in generally good condition for books of their age. They would make a lovely addition to a bookshelf.
