Description
Vista Alegre porcelain rectangular tray or ashtray featuring the 'Lancha Bombardeira 1798' nautical illustration. Produced for the Museu de Marinha in Lisboa, Portugal, this piece showcases a detailed historical sailing vessel with crew and a cannon, accented by a gold-gilded rim and a royal crest. The porcelain is crisp white with vibrant multi-color transfers. The underside bears the Vista Alegre Portugal crown mark along with a 'Museu de Marinha Lisboa' stamp and an original retail sticker identifying it as a 'Cinzeiro' (ashtray). It is a fine example of Portuguese maritime commemorative ware, likely dating from the late 20th century based on the backstamp style and barcode sticker.
