This is a Shakuhachi Bag.

This is Type B.

This longer bag is designed to fit shakuhachi up to approximately 59cm in length, with a diameter of about 5cm.
A tie string has been attached a few centimeters from the opening. The length can be adjusted to some extent by folding.

The gusset at the top and bottom will be determined by the diameter of the shakuhachi.
Even if the overall length of the shakuhachi is long, if it is not flat and has a large diameter, the top and bottom gussets will be larger, making it difficult to fit.
For an idea of the diameter, a 3rd photo shows an unopened mini juice can of approximately 5.2cm inserted for scale.

Depending on how you use it, if you untie the string or pull out the top fold, we recommend Type A. However, we plan to list only Type B for now.
