Description
Ive looked carefully and cannot find any broken pieces. Lovely shape and nice realism. Nice size. Most likely made 1960s to 1980s. Vintage Chinese glass bonsai tree showcases delicate pink and white cherry blossoms with vibrant green leaves, all meticulously hand-crafted from glass and wire. While I dont know the actual materials these trees can be made from jade, gemstones, rose quartz, agate, nephrite, green glass & jadeite. The tree is anchored in a celadon green ceramic pot featuring embossed bird and floral motifs, resting on four small feet. Each branch is wrapped in brown thread, allowing for slight adjustment of the floral display. This elegant decorative piece captures the timeless beauty of a blooming cherry tree, perfect for adding a touch of serene Asian-inspired decor to a shelf or mantle.
