Antique‎ Gallappi Filosofia Vol II III Leather Bound Italian Philosophy Books

Offered is a rare original 1841 Italian philosophy set, Lezioni di Logica e di Metafisica, by Pasquale Galluppi da Tropea, one of the most influential Italian philosophers of the 19th century. Printed in Florence (Firenze) in 1841, this two-volume set (Volumes II & III) was composed for academic use at the Regia Università degli Studi di Napoli, reflecting early modern European thought on logic, metaphysics, and natural theology. The books retain their original 19th-century half leather bindings, with beautifully hand-marbled boards and marbled page edges. Gilt spine titles remain visible. These volumes were formerly housed in the Conception Abbey Library, as evidenced by original withdrawal labels and shelf markings, adding institutional provenance.
