Vintage 1970s Handmade Papier Mache Santa Boot Christmas Decoupage Planter Decor

Wonderful vintage 1970s Christmas Santa boot decoration, approximately 12 x 12 overall.  This charming piece appears to be handmade papier-mâché/paper-based construction with a hand-finished red surface, black sole and soft cream faux-fur cuff. The boot is covered with nostalgic decoupage Christmas imagery including a large Santa face, Victorian-style children, toys, sleigh scenes, holly, snowflakes and other tiny holiday details.  Filled with an artificial Christmas arrangement featuring poinsettias, holly, berries, satin ornaments and other festive accents. The arrangement is being sold exactly as found.  Believed to date to the 1970s based on the materials, artificial florals and style of the applied Christmas imagery. No maker's mark was found, so exact age and origin are unknown.  Vintage condition with expected age-related wear and wonderful character. There is some discoloration/spotting to the cream cuff, surface wear and irregularities to the handmade boot, wear to the painted sole, and aging/wear to some of the applied paper decorations. Florals show age and may need some gentle fluffing or repositioning. Please review all photos closely for condition.  Approximately 12 x 12 overall.
