RARE COLLECTORS PIECE: Vintage 1980s Dooney & Bourke All-Weather Leather (AWL) Small Dome Satchel featuring an exclusive internal The Horchow Collection fabric label.This is a true holy grail find for vintage fashion archivists and Dooney & Bourke purists! Manufactured during the very first production runs of the iconic AWL line (circa 19831985), this bag is an authentic Pre-Tag piece. It was crafted before Dooney & Bourke instituted their standard red, white, and blue registration tags, meaning the custom Horchow catalog store label serves as the primary mark of origin. It was sourced directly through the upscale Horchow Collection mail-order directory in the 1980's. Dome Satchel / Speedy / Doctor Bag (Model R704 silhouette)Colorway: Classic 1980s Ivory / Bone pebbled leather body paired with smooth British Tan leather trim, handles, and piping. Features the beautiful, early-era stitched-on leather duck crest directly on the front panel. Hardware: Outfitted with 100% solid brass components, including the iconic hanging solid brass duck medallion. The handle rivets are cleanly stamped with Dooney & Bourke.
