Vintage studio art pottery vase, hand-thrown and signed on the base. This small stoneware vase features a softly rounded form with a narrow neck and flared rim, finished in a layered blue and brown speckled glaze with subtle swirling movement around the lower body.  The glaze has depth and variation typical of studio pottery, with earth-tone browns showing through cool blue hues. A compact size that works well as a bud vase, shelf accent, or grouped with other studio ceramics for an artful display.  Signed on the underside by the artist (signature visible in photos). Artist is unidentified, which is common for studio pottery and does not detract from display value.
