Vintage Rhodesian Horn & Brass Bracelet Pair c.1970 • Victoria Falls Provenance  Exceptional vintage pair of African horn & brass bracelets, purchased at a roadside market near Victoria Falls, Rhodesia (present-day Zimbabwe) circa 1970  Beautiful examples of mid-century Southern African artisan jewelry, featuring dark polished natural horn with substantial hand-finished brass components. One bracelet is a closed style with a hand-bent brass hook-and-loop closure, textured brass collars & twisted wire accents. The second is an open cuff with sculptural brass fittings & distinctive hand-wrapped/coiled brass wirework  The horn is believed to be natural animal horn, based on the visible organic variation & exposed ends. Exact species, maker & specific cultural attribution unknown.
