Vintage Bennington Pottery by David Gil terracotta chicken (or rooster?) trivet or plaque. Has some minor wear, but I think it's in pretty good shape. It seems like it was lightly used or maybe just displayed. I did not clean it for fear that I would damage it. I rubbed off some scuffs, but that's all. The number is not the year it was made--it is the design number. I contacted Bennington Pottery and they said that the terracotta was fabricated in the 1970s. This is true vintage handmade in the 1970s! Marked on back: bennington pottery bennington vermont 1964 dg This is very clean and shows no major flaws. There are still rubber feet on the bottom, so it can be used as a trivet or a plaque. There is a hole for mounting or hanging. Please ask all questions before buying. Returns are accepted, but buyer pays return shipping.
