RARE Vintage Blue Ridge Southern Potteries Woodcrest Mimic 9.25" Dinner Plate

RARE Vintage Blue Ridge Southern Potteries 130 Woodcrest Mimic 9.25 Dinner or Luncheon Plate Mimic is a specific hand-painted dinnerware pattern belonging to the Woodcrest line manufactured by Southern Potteries Inc. under their famous Blue Ridge brand. The Mimic pattern features the line's signature mid-century look, styled with freehand, hand-painted underglaze decorations applied by artisan workers. Because each piece was hand-decorated, no two items are completely identical, showing minor color and stroke variances that collectors value highly today. In the vintage pottery world, Woodcrest designates the specific blank or shape body used for the dishes. This line often incorporated modern mid-century silhouettes, textured surfaces, or warm, earthy undertones (such as tan or cream backgrounds) to distinguish it from their standard white colonial or piecrust shapes. Condition: Excellent pre-owned with no known flaws. Vintage, handmade and pre-owned items may have slight imperfections or signs of light use. Anything major that compromises the value or integrity of the piece will be listed. Please shop my entire store. Questions? Ask!
