☆ Chikyu no Arukikata Size | Genuine Leather Book Cover ☆

For those whose minds are always on travel.

Reading Chikyu no Arukikata (a popular Japanese travel guide series) during your commute or break at work can make your excitement almost palpable to those around you.

Also, when traveling abroad, being recognized as Japanese by other Japanese people can lead to awkwardness (though this might just be me?).
There's also the security aspect. Japanese people are often seen as easy targets.
That's why I don't want to carry Japanese books or guidebooks as they are.

With these thoughts in mind, I created this book cover for Chikyu no Arukikata.
How about it as a travel companion?

The color is an ash brown with a natural feel, which can appear wild or cute depending on the owner.

Size: Approx. 22.2 x 29.7 cm

Also fits the Moleskine notebook soft cover L size, which is almost the same size as Chikyu.

[Hide Bills Here]
You can hide bills in the thick folded part on the back cover side.
A flap is attached to the back so they won't pop out.
This is for distributing cash.
A 10,000 yen bill fits perfectly (it's a snug fit with almost no margin).
(Japanese bills are large, so most foreign currencies should fit.)

It's also convenient for quickly tucking away ticket stubs, receipts, or memos.

There is a slight amount of room, so books a few millimeters thicker will also fit.

A quick check on Amazon for thickness revealed that guides for Korea, Seoul, Taiwan, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Bangkok, the Big Island of Hawaii, and Guam are between 10-17mm thick.
However, this may vary depending on the edition (year), so please check the book you have.
※Large format books in the same series (more narrative-style series) will not fit.

Material: Approx. 1.6mm thick Hebitan (Combi Nume)
This is a tanning method that combines the ease of care of chrome tanning with the texture of vegetable-tanned leather.
You can also enjoy the aging process, where the color deepens slightly due to the reaction of tannins.

The color may appear differently depending on your monitor.
The flap tab and bookmark are made of thin, natural-coloredヌメ革 (nume leather) so they don't press against the cover or pages.

Please note that there may be minor imperfections in the stitching, marks from tools, or natural scratches and color variations in the leather itself from the manufacturing process.
